Can you ask the user if he sees similar delay when he is editing the name inside a circular/linear Pattern or Mirror dialogs in the ASM workspace?

Does it become any better if 3D preview is OFF in the constraint dialog?

Does the problem occur is a simple assembly with one or two constraints OR is seen with large size assemblies.?

What about doing the similar thing to dialogs in a Part workspace.

Just to eliminate a problem update, I suggest that when convenient you uninstall Alibre, re-boot computer and re-install using a fresh download of the installer

Was that an 'auto update' or was the v26 installer downloaded and ran t manually to do the update?  A few users have had problems with auto update, which have been resolved by uninstalling, re-boot and then install using a fresh download of the v26 installer - but I must admit I haven't heard of an issue like you have reported....

A possible workaround for you whilst we investigate - right click on the constraint name in Design Explorer and then choose 'rename', rather than using the label field in the constraint dialogue.

One simple thing to try to see if it helps, as this seems to relate to the user interface - re-set your Alibre user profile (using link on Utilities Tab of the Home Window).  Let us know if that helps or not.  After re-setting the user profile, you'll have to re-establish any customisations of the interface that you've previously done.
